About Our Mares.

We have had mares from all sections of the Studbook but have concentrated on the C’s and D’s.

The Section A mare Owendale Jewel, deceased, was the foundation of a line of Section C’s starting with a daughter Burrowa Topaz  by Kaywana Sportz Finale and a daughter Burrowa Bannod’s Gem by Burrowa Bannod.

These and granddaughter Burrowa Capricorn’s Gem bred beautifully to Section D stallion Abergavenny Achilles (imp).

The Section B mare Kirreway Peacetime arrived with her two daughters Bigara Park Enchantress and Bigara Park Peacetime Girl many years ago, all deceased with one grey Section B filly descendent here.

The other good Section B mare was  Keyi Briallen, deceased at 40 yrs old and we have three descendents left.

We have three very nice Section D mares of fully imported breeding left, Burrowa Alethia, Burrowa Betrys and Acheron Sue’s Magic.

The Section C mares left are Burrowa Topaz, Burrowa Blues Girl and Burrowa Dark Opera.
